Taylor atendió la 47ª entrega de los CMA Awards en Nashville, Tennessee. Llevó un vestido de Elie Saab. Ganó cuatro premios a los que estaba nominada: Pinnacle award, Music Video of the Year, Musical Event of the Year y International Artist Achievement.
Además tocó una versión acústica de RED, con Alison Krauss y Vince Gill.

Transcripción: Taylor habla sobre sus fans:
"Well for me, when I think about them, when I think about my fans as a group, I just think of the little things. I think about the letters that I get from classrooms and I think about the YouTube videos my mom sends me of a little girl opening her Christmas present and it’s tickets to my show and she freaks out. I think about videos of young girls who are playing a song on guitar and they just learned. I think of, sometimes I’ll sit in a position where I can watch people leave the shows, not trying to be creepy, it sounds creepy, but I will watch people leave the shows and I’ll look at their signs, and I’ll look at the shirts that they made or I’ll look at, some people cover themselves in Christmas lights just so that we can see them from the stage. Those little things are the things that flash through my mind. Or sometimes I’ll go and stalk my fans Twitter pages. Which also sounds really creepy, I’m blowing this. But I’ll look at how, you know how sometimes fans have a reputation of being like bullies or aggressive or kind of rude to other artists or something. I just feel so proud that my fans are always nice to other fans. They’re always nice to each other. They don’t really say hateful things or say they’re going to set people on fire or anything, which it's something that Im proud of. All those things, put together as a group is what I think of when my name gets called. I don’t really think about it being for me, because they’re the ones who did all those things."

"Bueno, para mi, cuando pienso sobre ellos, cuando pienso sobre mis fans como un grupo, simplemente pienso sobre las cosas pequeñas, pienso sobre las cartas que me llegan desde clases y sobre los vídeos que me envía mi madre de niñas pequeñas que les han regalado entradas para mi concierto y están enloqueciendo. Y pienso sobre vídeos de chicas que están tocando una canción con la guitarra que acaban de aprender. Pienso sobre, hay veces en las que me siento desde un lugar donde pueda ver a la gente salir del concierto, ver su expresión, las camisetas que han hecho, o veo a algunas personas que van repletas de luces navideñas para que les veamos desde el escenario. Esas pequeñas cosas son las que pasan por mi mente. O otras veces espío los perfiles de mis fans en Twitter. Ya se que sienta extraño, muy extraño. Pero me fijo en como, otros fans tienen reputación de meterse con la gente, o ser agresivos a otros artistas o algo. Simplemente estoy muy orgullosa de que mis fans sean amables con otros fans. Siempre son muy amables con todos. Nunca dicen cosas malas ni dicen que van a quemar a nadie ni nada, y eso es algo de lo que estoy muy orgullosa. Todas esas cosas juntas es en lo que pienso cuando oigo mi nombre. No pienso que en realidad sea para mi, porque son ellos quienes han hecho todo."
